It used to be possible to buy from the local chemist and grocery stores
Saltpeter for curing animals skins
Flowers of sulphur for your mum’s rose bushes
and with a little bit of ground charcoal
together with a bit of jetex fuse …….
a few large holes could could be blasted in the local woods
