In the wee hour rush to recover Trixie's broke axle damage I drove in a new drum bearing by putting it on a metal milk crate and remember the thin washer had fallen off the end of stub axle, but didn't remember retrieving it before assembly nor testing the assembly before 1000 mile Texas LOP ride. We heard the drum scrapping sounds when I got 20 miles to meet Wes but he called it right saying it sounded like the drum and brake plate a bit too close d/t missing washer. Relieved it was a minor issue, carried on through trip then 6 more days around here.

Tonight I dug up a washer and set affairs right in open air delight. Found the tire casing cushions held up good so far and dry as a bone polished inside chain with like 5000 miles on it now, still clinging pretty tight when lifted out the valleys.
Missing RH mirror was a trailer cargo fouling mistake, not a crash, this time.

Oh yeah, the red rag stuffed under front tire was to tip bike back so axle lined right up with minimal effort and fuss. To fine tune I just turned tire a bit to spit some of the rag wad out. I do similar at rear to diddle front axle too.

But on Tuesday night (Oct. 11) we will have the astronomical opposite of a supermoon. At 10:06 p.m. EDT (0206 GMT), the moon will officially turn full, but it will be the smallest full moon of 2011.

Can remember whistling around a corner , two up , on the 61 Triump , and becomeing suddenly aware of a extended towing mirror coming the other way
at the lent over head hight and course , by one of those towing a large caravan on the twisty sealed road , lifted around it and dropped back on line .

Seen a magpie dive at a Saint doing 60 up a hill , and bounce of the headlamp into the scenary too .

Your going to have to get a helmet cam , and a spare identity or two to post the escapedes with . :P

I supose the semi expected you to give way , a few tried that with me , they seem to panic if you steer AT them , so just a little , or you could havem over .
