961 Sport Headlamp Shell

Hiya. New member and new owner of a Mk1 961 sport....Bought to keep me busy in my retirement. First of many likely questions. Is the headlamp rear shell available ? I saw some on fleabay but they appear to be generic...any help would be appreciated.

Welcome! I guess you have the plastic shell? Unfortunately getting spares from TVS is problematic, so your best bet is a generic steel headlamp. If you use the search facility you should be able to find which one folks have fitted.

Hi All,

Just a quick few photos of a headlight swap I did on my bike. I had the plastic early style headlight, with a crack on the edge (that I understand is somewhat common). I would have liked a factory one, but after some searching have gone with one from baak.

Fits fairly straightforward, overall good build quality and the gloss back is a reasonable match to the factory paint, I'm happy with the look of it, and I thought a few photos might help someone else.

Before and after is as below; excuse the lack of detailing:
