I have seen a lot of the informational posts from Richard Coyotes and have bought his starter /solenoid rebuild kit. How does the enclosed tool work? What does it do when putting solenoid back together?
Does anyone have Richard Coyotes contact information, email, etc.?

There should be a workshop manual in the resources section of this website . My memory says that the tool in the kit should hold down the plunger so you can mount and align the new contacts he sends in the kit. But you need to read the manual first to be sure.
