961 MANUALS

Hi Richard I'm about to do the head bolt torque, valve check on my 961. Have you been able to reuse the valve cover gaskets successfully? About 2000 miles on the bike. If so, do you recommend silicon sealant? Thanks for all the good work you do. John

Richard,

Just purchased a 2016 Commando Sport MKII with only 3 miles on it and if you would be so kind I'd appreciate it if you'd send me your workshop manual in PDF form. Email is:

I'll be sending you a paypal donation soon too as you've done alot to help our 961 community and deserve to be compensated for it. Thanks

I will add you to my email list too. Mostly for new manuals and things I do not post to the forum.

Hi - a new owner in the UK - thanks for your work for the community. May I have a set of manuals and your Paypal details please? clivxxxx@xxxxxxxxx.co.uk

Thanks,

Congrats on the purchase Clive. These bikes are a real blast to ride. Very addictive. And welcome to the forum.

I sent you 31 emails. Have a glance and let me know what you think. Be sure to upgrade your ignition the day you get the bike.

Hey Richard

Same boat here. New Dommie rider and would appreciate info.

Cheers.

Anyone know the socket size for the two bolts holding the Dominator seat unit on? Can't see inside to estimate.

Cheers.

Hi Richard I am looking at purchasing a new old stock cafe racer in Australia where I live it is plated 2015 but I think buil 2014 If I go ahead and purchase this bike what updates do you think it would need. I own several English classic bikes including two 850 Commandos
I would also appreciate if I could get copies of you manuals, I have been following your progress on sorting the problems on these bikes and I am to confident to purchase one and be an active part of this group. I have read with interest the recent posts relating to the experience,s of Bushman with the crank and rockers. I visited the factory when it was at Donnington in 2012 with the intention putting a deposit on a new one and being one of the first owners in Australia.
Allan Jeans who was the sales manager at the time arranged for me to have a tour of the facility with the service manager.
After the tour and what I observed I elected not to put a deposit down until there production processes had improved. Especially process of engine assembly and the open unclean area where they were assembling them. However from what I have been reading they still have a way to go but I really am lean to buy especially after spending a full day riding my friends 961
