Just got back from a great ride on the Mk3.

New stuff:
Tires.
Different lower bars.
Mud flaps (needed in Colorado).
Rack (needed in Colorado).
cNw starter mechanism upgrade.
Fixed electronic speedo.
All torqued and valve clearances.

Did about 70 miles, what a great bike!

Jerry, how does the stock seat compare to the Corbin for comfort?
That rack looks nice on the bike.

Glen

Hi Glen,

I prefer the stock seat. I get a bit more leg room. These days I dont do more than a few hundred miles in one go and I can easily handle it with that seat. I always felt too cramped with the corbin.

I got the rack from RGM. I am only going to use it for weather gear. Paranoid about putting anything too heavy on it. It's very well made...

Both your bikes are super clean, I sure can't say that about mine. Great looking machines. I also think that's a great looking rack, Gotta look into that for my MK III.

Beautiful bikes, sunny day, what else can you ask for?
What type/brand of gaiters do you use on the MK3?

The bike looks stunning Jerry!

If all you’re carrying is lightweight waterproofs then your rack worries are probably unwarranted. But if the paranoia gets too much, or if you want to carry more weight, it looks like some stout stays would be easy to knock up, like this:

Stout stays!!! Keep them under Grannies skirt where they belong and buy a decent rucksack :)

Jerry,
As always excellent work and beautiful bike. Quick question, is that one of Esmerelda’s
rear sprocket carriers? If not where did you get that?
Pete

Is the " CNW starter mechanism upgrade" the new John Snead 3 piece sprag unit? I didn't know they were available yet. I don't need one at the moment but when my sprag goes I think I'll go that route.

I think Jerry is one of the testers...

Great, about time you got it out and gave it a proper thrashing.
Bike looks great as always.

For those that have never seen one of Jerry's rides, they are top notch in ever respect.
The finest of everything from CNW, Jim Comstock, AN and others.

I'm going to give an unashamed plug for our friend.
You can buy his 750 right here.
Whoever buys this is getting a gobsmacking, great ride.
