I think the tasteful comment is correct Dave. That looks like a model the factory should have made.

 Dave, Most nice and very tasteful! I really like your overall theme and the profile, it's where I'm trying to go with my 69'. Especially the two-tone paint job of the tank and the "unapproachable" decals. I can only hope it turns out so well! Congratulations on your work.
Cheers,

Very well done, a good looking bike, everything flows so well. :D

And curses to you for harping about the weather just as it's getting time for me to hibernate

Jean

Jeandr, If it's any consolation it is actually too hot here to ride the bikes in Summer with any degree of comfort or pleasure, especially if you want to wear protective clothing - I always do.

I just realized what what is unusual about your bike, aside from the execution and perfect paint scheme. You don't got no turnsignals! I hate them. I'm looking for some kind of LED strips to put on my rear views. The stock units are a blight.
A great bike.

You got that rear fender right too. What is that off of? I have been thinking about going to a painted/modified rear fender and would rather hang the SS mudguard on the wall than cut it and paint it!

The bamboo background is a nice touch! My bike doesn't have that option.
Russ
Russ, you can still get new ones from Norvil and others. I got one and it is flawless.

HI L.A.B. Thanks
Just worked it out , when I did as you said and it came up blocked, I'm in Iran and any sites ,like you tube, photobucket, flickr etc are "blocked" for my "safety", anything that has two big jugs, and Nortons have those I believe!!!!, will be blocked! ... Roll on Dec 17th....

To Dave, However I can "listen" to those comments and they all certainly give the thumbs up, I'll look forward to seeing it when I get home!
Robert

I'm thinking that if you're in Iran you have greater worries than looking at pictures of motorcycles.

And your point is?

Nortasaki, the rear guard is standard, it is simply trimmed off shorter than normal and painted. I love the photo of your own bike and my next project after I finish the S-type, which is now very close, will be a Dunstall Commando. I already have all of the bodywork, rear sets, fairing etc. Still undecided about the front brake which may end up being a Robinson 9 inch 4 leading shoe that I have waiting for something appropriate.

It means that you're fortunate to have any internet connection at all.

Hello Dave, sorry it took me so long to agree with everyone here, What a nice bike you have built!
Kind of wish I'd done a similar paint job to yours.
Are there plenty of good roads in HK ?
Graeme.

Thanks Graeme, there are not plenty of good roads, but enough to make riding here a pleasure.
