750 head on an 850?

hi everyone,
does anybody have experience with using a 750 head on an 850 engine? i notice that the exhaust valves have the same number on them, but the combustion chamber is smaller on the 750 but by how much i'm not sure. thanks, john b.

Hi, yes you are right the valves are the same, and so the valve train, but that's it.........the bolt pattern (the four bolts near the plugs) is a bit different , though it could be re-arranged (see Ken Canaga posts), and such for the hemisphere......not an amateur job , but the only way , unless you go for a nice Fullauto head, which is the best way if you have the cash!
