My MKIII is 329XXX, no fuses in bucket. I am the third owner, so I can not swear to originality.

Your photos show it has the 5-wire encapsulated assimilator.:)

It's the early Mk3s with the 3AW silver can 3-wire assimilator or "tin can WLA" as DD calls it that he's interested in finding approximately how many were made.

Sorry for wasting everyone's time
Are you kidding? Look at the great s#1t storm you created! Three pages worth. Pretty impressive...

Too late, but I'll throw it out there anyway

For the early MKIII guys, of which there seems to almost 2000, possibly more, here is the flow charts for the 3 fuses. I ohmed them out to find out where in the circuit the fuses are located. Only on fuse #1 the neutral is before the fuse. Much easier once you identify and mark your big connectors 1,2,3, and mark your mini connectors A,B.
This works well in conjunction with the regular shop schematic. I doubt there was a Canadian headlight version on the early bikes, but who knows?

UPDATE: delete Canadian headlight module on fuse 3
