Will a 74 roadster seat fit on a 70 Commando?

'74 roadster seat

One of the local club members has a '70 roadster with '74 seat. It fits fine. The original '70 seat had thinner seat foam, height wise.

All Roadster and S seats will interchange except for the 75.
The 75 has a side hinge which fits only the 75 (Mark III), however previous seats can work on a 75.
