'74 Norton taillight assembly

Could someone direct me to some pictures of where parts fit together on the taillight assembly.....specifically the bracket from fender to taillight mounting plate...I suspect that the parts I have may be bent because it's not going together as it should....the parts group diagram does not give enough detail....thanks

First I don't have photos handy. And I don't know if this helps, but where the bracket goes over the tail loop and bolts to the fender. The lower one (farthest aft) is a standard bolt. The upper one is a hollow bolt such that another bolt threads into it thru the taillight fairing.

Thanks, Russ...I'm good there. The problem is that the tailpiece (fiberglass part) should fit relatively snugly against the taillight plate and it doesn't .....there is a 1/2 - 3/4 inch gap there....the taillight bracket as I have it fitted, does not allow the taillight plate to come far enough back to join the tailpiece, but can't see any other way for the bracket to go...something's bent or?
