tore down the front iso mount on the 74. one thing I did was check the lateral clearance before disassembly - came in at .043" - :eek:. everything came apart without issue, but the RH rubber mount was actually dry rotted, and the inner spacer had quite a bit of corrosion. the outer rubber mounts didn't seem to be as off center as the rear, but the front was more of a physical mess. I have some minor rust issues with the front engine mount, but it seems to be cleaning up OK. hope to have the new Mk3 mount wrapped up sometime today. and a heads up to LAB - will set the vernier to .010 per your suggestion. ;)

I bought the andover-norton kits from old britts. hard or soft - I have no idea.
