73 COLOUR OPTIONS

I have just bought 73 Commando with square tail lamp and black instrument cowls. Bike is now painted dull black and I´d like to go something different. What was the 73 colour options (steel tank), was fairlake still available? Bike looks just same as early 850.

If you see the LINKS , one of the vendors on there still has a few ( 3 colours) of the Gen U wine NORTON factory touch up Aerosols .Yr gonna have to hunt the catalogues on the Brit wotsit site ? . Inside a side panel or better , Under a tank , isnt faded for colour match . A bloke had a nice burgandy with silver script machine on here a few weeks back .or , Darkest b.r.g. is black , tinted green , or is that . . .
 
Is it a Roadster, Interstate, or Hi-Rider model, as the colour options were not always the same?

The colours are listed in parts groups 25 and 28 (pdf pages 56 & 62)

Note that the 750 model Roadster pinstriping followed the previous season's single stripe 'D' design. 750 models had no sidepanel pinstripes, so 750 and 850 pinstripe designs were not identical. Not all 750 colour options included a pinstripe.

The Norton brochures about then all refer to a separate page showing the colors available.
Anyone got any ?

The color page for 1971 (?) was for sale a while back, and I stashed the pic away somewhere safe. If only I could recall where....

I have the sales brochures for '71, '72 and '74. All say the same thing. No help here.

Haven't been swamped with folks saying they have these color charts (separate from the Norton brochures) stashed in a draw somewhere. The fact I've seen one on ebay means they exist.

Just a thought - does Kims latest cds of Norton stuff include them at all - early ones didn't, but I know he tracks down stuff and includes it in the latest version.
