Well, thanks to you guys and a few others not here giving me the encouragement and information I needed I went and bought the bike. It's a good bike for me I think as although I am an experienced rider I am a novice mechanic and this is my first vintage bike. I do intend to do a slow restoration on the bike but nothing serious, at least not for a while. I would like to get an Interstate right side cover and have the tank refinished. (It has a few rust bubbles around the base of the filler neck) Other than that just some cleaning, polishing and replacement of rubber peg covers etc.
