Interesting video of a hot rod 71. I have been looking for a British car specialist to get some work done on my 1960 Austin Healey Bugeye Sprite. This shop comes highly recommended. As I was browsing their website, I came across this short video of the owner and his Commando.

What the ......! Is it finished? Two steering dampers?? I like the way you can hardly tell it from a factory bike as all the mods are well concealed. I guess it wont see any rain with the down draught carbs and front mudguard. Life would be boring without guys like this!

Holy crackers! I'm not worthy. That's the Combat the factory should have built. What's a few extra warranty claims. That thing sounded tough as nails and a bit like a time bomb too. But yeh, guys like that are awesome. Inherently know how to get more out of any engine. I'd love to see that thing in person. Wow! And where can I get some of those Red Wing shahks?

"It's up to spec"

What spec would that be?

I'd have a problem with it sucking off all my underarm hair.

Paul I was thinking the same thing....whose spec? You know my dad use to say...."there's a seat for every ass" What makes this hobby interesting is that there is something for everyone....Good for him.....Skip

Cool some thing completely different 16" back wheel crazy pipes magneto ignition and VW carbs

I guess it may offend the purists ?

It doesn't offend me at all, I just cringe a little when I hear the word "specs" used on modified bikes.

Interesting bike. He needs to adjust his speedo cable and lean how to start it NOT on the side stand. :D

I don't know about any fella's confidence to commit to body kick down while straddling two saddle horns bowed legged and missing one's junk - every time. Its 2 fuel pumps diddle that must be off to kick is likely some reason for hesitating to start. I love the variations even if not wanting it myself.
