68 Commando ex USA

Got an odd 68 Commando here. Deduced it is a interimm condition S model. has not hole or studs for dist or mag in timing chest. has the points there on the exterior and Norton incised in it. Thick chunky tappet covers and chunky finned exh clamps. As 69 -70 but rear fender/guard has different mounts than my 71 R. has roastdster type tank and sidepanels in F/G. was metalflake red. had a rough two into one but may have had two out one side and I have bought these for it. faceted gearbox kick st

What is the serial number?

If it's an actual 750S then it's unlikely to be a '68 model, as "S" production supposedly commenced during March '69 from serial number (eng.: 20M3S/)131257.
