6203TB

Just wanted to bring everybody up to speed on a bearing price.
I called Kaman bearing supply in Fort Washington, PA and asked for a 6203 TB w/ C-3 clearance.
No problem 29.00 plus or minus 3 bucks for shipping.
Forgot to ask who makes it. :shock:
2 days later a FAG 6203TB c-3 arrived in a factory FAG box marked made in Korea.
It looks just like the one displayed by Les in the layshaft bearing threads.
Anyway sure beats the prices I was quoted or should I say probably mis-quoted by some of the call takers @ bearing suppliers.
They probably looked up the wrong bearing?
Anyway if any body is looking for this bearing they have it for around 29 bucks.
Google Kaman and they have a Ft. Wash. PA location w/ phone number.
Sorry do not have it handy or would supply.
Any one cannot find it I'll get my receipt out and PM them

Thats a deal and a half!

I paid about that much in £ from Hemmings last year, plus shipping. But then he sent me ball bearings and I didn't have to do any shimming.

sorry if I wasn't clear it is a deep groove ball bearing w/ a phenolic resign cage.
It is the flexible caged Hemmings bearing.

The Hemmings bearing I got was not phenolic. I'm not sure it even had any cage to it, but I can't remember, I probably have a picture of it around somewhere, I'll look. Actually Sidriley has one I got him as well, if he still has it around I'll check his out.
