Hi All, can someone tell me timing figures for the 4s cam (850) I would prefer full lift @ crankshaft degrees figure. I also have a Hemmings Norvil head steady, should the rubbers be a tight fit in the housing or not(as in my case)?

Thanks in advance for your replies, Paul.

Thanks for that LAB, on my 4s I have .003" on 1 of the inlet lobes but it isn't pitted so hasn't gone thro' the hardening but when using a file to check hardness it has marked the lobe surface. As far as I know the engine has done 17k,the followers are slightly marked so there is not a lot wrong with the cam but I thought the cams were supposed to be quite hard. Any thoughts on the head steady ?

Regards, Paul.

Sometimes it helps to start a new topic with a... new topic. You may want to post something about the headsteady separately.

No ideal how the Norvil one works.
