Although the price seems to good to be true, there is no such thing as a "1975 Norton 750 Interstate". The 750 ended in 1973. You better study up and do some investigation.

Fairly complete Norton for $750.

It's absolutely junk.

Please give me the address...

Yes you have to be carefull on the internetty thing because there are lots of scam artists out there trying to part you from your cash or rare Norton parts and stuff. The gastank seems to be wrong for that model so box it up and send it to me and I will send off a different tank to you. You can trust me.Peter. But seriously run to the bank and hand the owner the $750. 75 models were all 828 cc. named 850 for marketing purposes. Don't waste time and sweat the details after it is in your garage.

I agree with Peter here. For $750, just get it home and get the camera going. We'll take care of you from here. Anyways, "all" gearboxes need work.

That's what I paid for my 750 in '72. One dollar per cc. Don't sweat the small stuff, bring it home, especially if it's all there.

I think the reason he hasn't replied is that he DID go for it!

Who wouldn't?

I picked up my norton for $850 and it was a complete bike, although tranny was in a box and motor seized. But these deals are out there. You gotta buy it, if you haven't already. If you aren't, share the love and give that lead to some of us here in the forum =)
