1974 commando 850

Was wondering if someone can tell me if my bike is worth much?.....it's 1974 commando 850 numbers matching?

Depends where you are, what country you are in, the condition of the bike, if it needs work done too it, if its a goer, etc etc, without pics it's just a guessing game.

Like @ashman says, even if you answer all his questions, the answer is still unknown. I bought my first 74 in 1980 for $1000, running with 4000 miles. The second one I got, I traded a buddy for a 69 Triumph. I got it from a neighbor's basement for $200. It was so butchered up, but I did rebuild the motor. It sat in my living room for a long time. In the meantime he was sitting on a 74. Not ridable and really rough. We traded junk since he liked Triumphs and I liked Nortons. So that trade cost me about $2000. During Covid I found a non-rideable 74 and bought that for $2000. So now I have three 74's. These Norton's take a boatload of money to restore and when you are done the value is a lot less than you put into in. Just remember, there's an ass for every seat, and a sucker born every minute. OK let's get down to business. Post pics of the bike like @ashmen says, plus the location, and what you think it's worth. Maybe you are just a BOT with one post . Jerry will take care of that
