1970 Commando 750"S" rocker oil feed

Maybe it's an exception, but a buddy of mine has the original rigid line on the '69 'S' that he's ridden since new. Never leaked. Granted, the original steel line will not take much bending without cracking the solder joints, but I don't see much difference in longevity of the rigid line over the plastic line. I have had a couple of those break on me. No doubt the most rugged line is the braided stainless hose.

but its protected plastic and the joints are not relying on plastic which softens with heat :mrgreen:
