Here's a picture of the "finished" product. Lots of work to do still but she's all back together. I'll post more detailed photos when i have more time.

1969 Fastback Rebuild

Still need to sort out a couple issues.
- Big leak coming from in between the primary and crankcase. New gasket ordered.
- Battery is dead. Ordered new.
- One bad coil. Ordered the CNW single coil conversion.
- Timing is close but not spot on. Some kickback on starting and doesn't fire as well on higher RPM's.)
- Leak from the head gasket (front of head) and smoking, and fouled plugs from the right cylinder. May be from the bad coil but may pull the head to address the leak anyway and check the rings.

Ugh...

I organized my photobucket account into albums and it deleted every picture. I'll try to sort this out.

I bet that was a chore getting the pictures sorted. My gasket from the engine to primary leaked first time too, I put RTV on it. Ended that leak.

Looks nice.

Looks Superb . Sure the real issues will be which bike to ride . :P

Leaning on the odd bolt / nut to see all the torques are correct as she settles in ,
PARTICULARLY the Ex Nuts & Iso Bolts should be about the most arduous , I should think . Once there copper washers have compacted , theyll stay put .
The odd ' heat cycle ' and so on . . .

Take it easy and enjoy it .

My bleedy theory is 1/4 throttle ( held ) max to 500 miles , working up to 2000 before its held open , and not before 1500 . Or its ' Off with the Head '( yours )
No dragging the Hondas till then
