do you have a link or can you throw up a pic of the wing nuts?
RGM part 505 S-8-26 . I may have gotten the last of them as I can’t find them on the site . I ordered last week . I took the number from my invoice. The last two numbers are thread pitch I see they have 18 and 20 available.

Received my tank panels from RGM today - very nicely made.

I just purchased the correct headlight out of Australia. As rare as hens teeth. But it doesn't have the Lucas Logo that sits between the switch and the Ammeter.
Been poking around on the internet with no luck so far.

They are available from RGM . Number 397092 - currently 4 available @ 11.90 GBP

A little progress to report . I’ve been chipping away at the primary chain case which was butchered by someone in the past- hole hacked in for clutches adjusting , flange on inner case beaten and torn and a bodge brazed on along bottom edge to try to contain the oil . All stripped of paint down to bare metal and primed with epoxy primer .

I cut off the brazed on piece and cut a disc and recut hole in outer case to fit disc . All will be going to welder this coming week.

Got the headlight shell and "mask" for my 56 Dominator from Australia. The "mask" isn't a very good fit in the shell that I got with it.
The holes don't line up easily and while I can get it to screw down it is bowed between the screws and not flat against the shell.

The more I try and work with this headlight shell and "mask" the more I'm convinced that the mask isn't correct. I measured the logo that fits into the mask, and it falls right through the opening. So, I'm putting the 58-style headlight back on. Any idea what it might be off of? Didn't find and Lucas numbers on the shell or mask.

Hard to tell from your photos - the opening in the headlamp shell should be nearly the size of the mask . See here -

on mine the back screws are about 1/2" further back than the holes on the shell. Also the Lucas logo the goes into the mask is smaller than the hole in the mask.

I was talking to a friend who is familiar with these headlight shells. He said that the "mask" and shell were matched to each other and that they may not fit correctly is they are mismatched. I don't see why Lucas would do that? He also said that the emblem has an aluminum surround piece that the emblem fits into. I am busy rewiring the headlight and using a 58-style headlight bucket. Always something.
