Well , Standard NORTON anyway . Perhaps .
apart from the carbs , porting , ignition , oil tank , etc .
and maybe a few other things . Eradicateing inadequacies .
And GREEN or Burgundy is preferable . His comments at the end, are in part , No less relevant to a Big Norton .
Also , Driving for less delinquent pilots , there are old pilots and there are bold pilots , but there are no old bold pilots .
At least there arnt who havnt had a few scrapes , Nevertheless - the TRADITIONS and HERITAGE , to me poisnally ,
mean ' blinged out ' Commando's etc etc , induce groans of horrer , apallment , and affrontery .
The Money would be better spent on some exercise . Lumberjacking , Caber Tossing , or other physically enhancing passtimes .

( Though ANCHORS ARE sometimes poignant when others may be so inconsiderate as to try to use our anticapated piece of roadway . )
Id thing most would recognise the similarity in operating tecnique . Where the equipment might not be suitable for disintrested operatives .
So break out the conservative paint chart ( theres seven distinct British racing Greens ) and add understated distinction , & stand apart ! .
PROPER Oil Tank . Not to mention BRAKE . Being ' NORTON ' , otherwise its not entirely Norton . But suit yourself .
Id use anything but concentrics , as long as its not Japanese . Dellorto's or 32 or 34 Mk II Amals , 750 0r 850 . And decent manifolds .
Not to mention filters .
Tyres
& exhausts .
Stuff the side stand lug . Fit a custom bling one underneath , by all means .
Even a SIDE STAND LIGHT . After All , theyre good enough for Ducati .
An inteligently designed sidestand would way half as much , anyway .
PROP STAND . perhaps .
But all that garbage under the seat & heath robinson go hand in hand .
1 Gal. total , 3/4 Oil . 1/4 breather was the standard . There were racing alloy
CONDUCTIVE heat wise Oil Tanks for endurance Nortons Back Then !
Criminal to neglect the heart of the machines life blood .
If you just use it to nip down to the shops , ya wont'a got past the foist free woids anywoy .
The rear've the eaders can kink into Std muffler placement , Inter or uvver . Suit Yerself .
Adios .
Then theres Dirt Ones ! .
A Commando was perhaps a Racing Manx'es performance . In a Road Machine . Or COULD BE . Back when everyone knew the Earth was FLAT . Except the roads worth riding ! .
