Hi MK3 owners, I have a support question :)

Please look at the image below. This is the plunger that goes at the MK3 oil Pump and there are 2 springs next to it. Here are my questions:

1) Is that the correct plunger? I am 99.9% sure it is.
2) Now for the spring. I was concerned about the spring that was in it before so I ordered a new one (Item 42 in photo) or part number: 06-6198. The spring on the left in the photo is the new one I ordered (seems too small) and the spring on the right was in the engine before.

So can any one tell me which is the correct spring by looking at this photo?
(Thanks for helping)

Agree, the heavier spring looks like #29 for the pressure control valve #28. The lighter spring looks like #42 for the anti wet sump valve #41.

I cannot tell for certain whether you are showing #28 or #41 but from recollection, #41 has thinner walls and is lighter than #28. My guess from the picture is you are showing #28.

The one on the right looks like the oil pressure relief valve spring (29).
The one on the left looks more like the standard anti-drain (non-return) valve spring (42).

The lightweight spring is #42 . It's for the antiwetsump valve.

The heavier spring is #29 for the oil pressure regulator. Jim
