1. I don't care for their advertising. They protray motorcyclists as semi-illiterate, buffoons.I do not like their business model, and prefer NOT to do business with them.
Slick
That's what I wanted... will switch1. I don't care for their advertising. They protray motorcyclists as semi-illiterate, buffoons.
It may be funny once in awhile, it's worn me out. I've come to the conclusion that is how they see us.
2. A few years back there was list of companies that donated to shut down some of our public riding land here in California.
Progressive, North Face, Camelback and many more all on the list. The very companies that solicit our business, yet trying to shut us out.
3. There is plenty more, but I'll stop here.

The "Flo" campaign is still an enormously successful advertising campaign and has generated millions in new biz.
"Flo" herself has become a millionaire many times over. A not so attractive actress found the gold mine...literally. Residual payments and continuation campaigns are ungodly lucrative. And for each market the spot is aired, and for each time the spot is aired, the higher the payout.
Anyone ever heard, anywhere, how happy and satisfied they are with Progressive insurance itself?
Follow the money
Any (insurance) companies that come to mind that are not pursuing that agenda?Your insurance fees at work for the Progressive marketing profile.
They are Darth Vader in a pink dress.
Look up customer/satisfaction history.
Yup.Any (insurance) companies that come to mind that are not pursuing that agenda?
Common occurrence. Not to steal this thread, but in the same vein, my bitch is with Enterprise Car Rental.
Those cockroaches twice tried to hit me with damage fees, that IF were true, happened on their own property after I returned the car after their normal business hours.
The details:
I waived THEIR damage fee, as my own insurance would cover any such damages.
Case 1: turned in the car at their lot at LAX after they closed for the day. Got a bill for key scratch damage. I told them to contact my insurance company..... never heard another word about it. And to my knowledge no claim was made on my policy.
Case 2: turned in car at their lot 15 minutes after their usual hours. People were still in their offices.
Next day, I got a call saying the car had keyscratch damage. I told them if it did have keyscratch damage, it happened on their property and therefore was their responsibility. They disputed that argument. Eventually, I said I was 100 miles away, would turn around and return, and inspect the car.... if it did not have a keyscratch , it would after I inspected it and before I filed a report with the Better Business Bureau. My wife dissuaded me from turning around, before I had gone 50 miles further, I got another call saying they would file a claim with my insurance company...... funny thing, they never asked me for my insurance company information.
