Real. Cumberland, RITRAFFIC CALMED !?!?!?
No offense Concourse but Is that real or is that photoshop.
And if its real?
What a whiney PC pussified method of posting a message/warning to slow the hell down.
Especially if your 6 yr. old munchkin is riding his or her bicycle on those streets.
Yeah, that presentation will really punch through and impress that 17 year old driving daddy's Beemer.
They'll be ambiguous discretion, not clearly markedQuote : We recognise not all roads currently at 30mph will be suitable to change to 20mph. These roads will be known as exceptions.
I wonder how many there will be?
I had the displeasure of riding from New Hampshire to Philadelphia last week. The back roads were OK but on the places where I had no choice but to slab it if you weren't going 80MPH plus you were getting tailgated and passed. Didn't even mind that but the jackwads that insisted on hanging in the passing lane for miles on end are a PITA. Even more fun when they get side by side with an 18 wheeler and won't go past. Maybe if more people took driving seriously speed limits might not be so low?
No who am I kidding? Neither of them will ever happen
I saw a similar one, in County Corke, 2017. People were still holding 50mph through the roundaboutsAh, Rhode Island, what a shock.

It generates more revenue .I've travelled a LOT through our vast country. Lots of it in small town America.
Pretty sure the Northeast has the distinction of the most unrealistic speed limits.

But New Zealand’s roads are in decline, said roading industry body Civil Contractors NZ, and they are going backwards with not enough money invested in long-term work.

“With the roads in their current state, you see it on social media and a couple of my mates say ‘oh it’s just bitumen’, but there is no link,” said Stacy Goldsworthy, CCNZ technical manager.
Before Marsden Point closed earlier this year, the refinery produced about 70% of the country’s bitumen for roads, with 30% of it imported. Now 100% is imported.
In 2016, with roads melting in the heat and breaking apart too easily, Waka Kotahi issued a new national standard for bitumen, the oil-based binding agent for asphalt. Bitumen must meet a national standard when it leaves the manufacturer.
Goldsworthy said New Zealand was a tiny market for bitumen, using about as much in a year as China used in a day
