Where did that go!

Had a nice afternoon out on the Café Racer, the sun shone and it even felt warm... Summer is on its way...

After a tea stop I put the key in the ignition and noticed this ....

Where is the hell did that go! Obviously vibrated loose or was never tight in the first place so guys it might be worth checking yours..

Does anybody have a spare one? Can't see any reason why somebody should got to be worth asking ... M25 * 1.5 i think

In a pinch you can source one from an electrical supply. They will have a similar one for large conduit. Or find a bearing lock nut works better

Feel for you. Random bits kept falling off mine in the early days!

and McPint had an issue with an engine mounting bolt at the TT!

Thanks for the link... Going to try and obtain an original as it looks nicer but in the meanwhile I've ordered a nut with nyloc

You could always dress the steering head up with one of these?
