Vintage Motorcycle Days

Yup, a few of us are riding down. Will be hooping it up with the TUC boys.

There is going to be a vintage meet at the New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville, NJ the 1st weekend in Aug . Way closer than Mid Ohio for us on the Eastern end of PA. Vintage racing and a swapmeet. NJMP is a really nice facility with 2 tracks and a kart track also.

I am planning on doing the AHRMA races at New Jersey Motorsports Park (NJMSP) August 2, 3 & 4. I just did a track day there this past Tuesday to shake down the new Nourish Seeley and it is a fine track and fine facility. The new bike prepared by NYCNorton ran flawlessly and was thoroughly flogged. It is now broken in.

Facilities include two banks of garages, a restaurant, VIP suites above the garages and clean shower facilities.

And AMA in their usual brainless planning scheduled VMD on the same weekend as AMCA's Antique meet

Who scheduled first?

It's getting to where there are no "good" weekends left on the calendar to try to squeeze in another one and hope to draw a reasonable crowd unless you have a MAJOR / International draw.

I will be racing the Commando at Mid-Ohio next weekend- I will be in garage #11, drop by and say hello.

I don't know who scheduled "first", but this is the 31st year of the Wauseon event.

Welcome back Doug. Any plans on making NJMSP in early August? The usual cast of characters are expected to be there.

Don't know anything about that track, perhaps it is something to consider. We'll see how Mid-O goes, I haven't turned a wheel yet this season. Love to see the Nourish Seeley run.

I assume anyone racing will be there the whole weekend. If you need a hand around the pits, I'd be up for it. If not, I'll most likely be drooling near your bikes the rest of the weekend.

We will be setting up drool buckets outside our garages.
