Currently stuck in Charlotte waiting for my connecting flight which at least an hour delayed. Didn't get much sleep on the red eye. And we're suppose to jump on the bikes this afternoon. Going to be a long day!

It took one large suitcase just for all my riding gear. It also includes all my rain gear in case we catch any of Hurricane Matthew.

Quite the surly bunch. We wouldn't be so cranky if the truck wiring had cooperated. In the end we had to switch trucks but it put us way behind schedule. Holed up in Hickory, NC tonight. We were hoping for Asheville but I'm just too tired from the red eye flight last night. We're still looking at getting to Barber Thursday evening.

The Interstate is a bear to ride. The rusted out Dunstall demand earplugs. It needs rearsets in the worse way so the passenge pegs suffice. And the clutch is slipping. May need to beg some plates at Barber to get it better.

The Guzzi looks like a sofa bed to ride. It will take some pleading to get a shot at it. :?

It should be much better, but my brother thinks it not good. I get over 40 mpg and mine doesn't run as well.

If you hadn't heard Kenny got run over by another racer. He's now sporting a massive cast on his leg. :cry:

Kenny had a mechanical problem on the start of the Formula 750 race Saturday. He launched and immediately lost power and put his hand up indicating a problem. Someone from the back of the grid clipped his leg.

Really unfortunate as he was ready for the race. Could have been much worse.
