What about inside the air box at the back. You could velco or double sided tape it there. Feed the wires through the bracket that holds the air filter in place.

Just a thought would it fit in the headlight bucket.?

Not sure.
I'll have to take a look.
To mount it there the wiring would probably need to be extended to reach back to the electrics in the tail.

Also thinking about a bracket that mounts over the rectifier/voltage regulator.
Might be exposed to the elements there, but I'm not a big rain rider.

Don't know that I would want the PC in the airbox.
The airbox volume is already small for a 961cc machine, reducing it further with the PC and wiring could be problematic.
These bikes really need a larger airbox plenum for better performance.

Hahaha no good good for me too much oil ,would never stick

The electrics only need to have a positive ,earth and plug into the injector wires behind the tank ,
Shouldn't need to have them going to the tail .

That's interesting.
Isn't there wire to the TPS also?

I'll check out the headlight shell tomorrow to see if there is room.
That should provide enough protection from the elements.

Can anybody post a diagram or picture on what wire goes to what in the BMW / Norton 961 TPS connection ?
Already have the rest hooked up and mounted.

Thanks, Chris in San Diego, Ca. USA ( new guy )

Sorry about the picture quality
The black white connects to the orange white
The grey Blue connects to the blue
The tps green is not connected
cheers

Which 2 wires is the resistor hooked to ? __Thanks Again, Chris in San Diego

I don't see any engine light on my 961, anyway.
Do some have and some don't ?
Mine is a 2015 model.
I guess I won't worry about it.

Had different colors in the TPS hookup.
The TPS is just a variable resistor, so the 2 wire hookup may not really matter which is which. Green wire not connected, though is close in the picture.
Bike running and will take on the freeway, tomorrow.
Will run on Dyno after i get about 200 more miles on it.
Has 300 + miles on it, now.

Maybe Omex could tell us,but no they wont , tried emailing them about their product but they will not comment .just keep referring me back to Norton .

Does the Ecu have a relearn proceedure. Omex wont comment.
Does the ecu reset after battery disconnect. Omex wont comment .
Does the Ecu Have a limp mode Omex wont comment.

Hello , Ok just got in the O2 sensor eliminator plugs . I am not telling you to eliminate your O2 sensors ! I just wanted to finish this thread with a little more clarity. The Norton 961 uses a 4 wire O2 sensor , 2 white and a 1 black and 1 grey wire . The white pair is a built in heater that Norton may NOT use and the black and grey pair is the signal with black as signal and grey being return. The eliminator plugs have a 330 OHM resistor across the signal pair. That is the grey and black , a 330 ohm resistor across grey to black. The white pair has a 1 Megaohm resistor across white to white. This is viewed from the O2 sensor plug end . Both resistors are 1/2 watt. The eliminator I ordered is the model that has the correct end plug like Aprilia ETV 1000 and fits Norton 961 . This was the ebay link that nopdog or pigunz sent . Just look up WHEELZ CONNECTORS UK he sells on ebay.
