Norton 650SS engine rebuild woes

I heard this morning that the mid west is really in for a shellacking. Lots of snow and cold.
I feel for you guys. We're in the high 40's here in the Pacific NW.

Not to burst you guys bubble, BUT....... it was in the mid 70s here today.

I spent the day with an 80 year old digging through his shop looking for Norton parts and listening to stories of the good old days when he raced a Factory Flat track racer supplied by Joe Berliner. I didn't spend enough time looking at all his trophies and reading the Magazine articles and Newspaper clippings hanging on the wall of his shop. Got some cool stuff and for great prices, he even let me crank his Ariel Square Four. DAMN was that thing sweet!!!!!

He had really cool bikes

What a beautiful day :D

Had to do it, didn't you. Two can play at this. When our two, to god knows how many feet of ice are off the lakes, I'll try to post pictures. I hate you too.

I'll chime in a third tone on the hate/ envy. Nice looking bikes. What is that brightness surrounding everything?

Winter for us supposed to be with snow yet all the storms dump it south of the border and we have barely a dusting. Not fair :!: Again, New York will get a good storm and the weathergirl said if we are lucky we will get some, but it does not look like we will get any.

At least BG was talking about Nortons, not the weather outside his window.

And you your doing what? Oh ya, stirring the pot of sh*t for the master.

Just trying to encourage more bike talk, less schoolgirly "We don't like you Ben" stuff.

I'll freely admit I appear to be failing badly at it.

No offence to any real, young, female schoolgirls who might be reading.
