Have any V4s been delivered?

on factory visit today, was told by the guy who manages new orders that 32 have been delivered, and I watched two chrome ones being collected in bright sunshine/30 degree heat, and put in a van for homeward journey. The two guys are coming back for two carbon ones, which will actually be used, they said....!!!

Hello everyone. Brand new to the forum. I took delivery of my V4SS about a month ago. Just sorting out the registration to get it road legal. Need to update my web site on my Norton journey with pics and vids www.thedandybiker68.co.uk

Unless you give us a name we’ll have to call you Dandy...!

Cool bike, we’re all rather (ie very) envious!

Gotta ask though, why are you having to register it and why didn’t the factory do this for you?

Hi Eddie
I was in the middle of buying a new house that needs building work done when it was delivered. I wasn't sure if I had enough cash to do the house so thought I may have to sell it so took it unregistered. But I've now decided to do the house extention in 2 phases and keep the bike. You only live once and all that!
Cheers
David

Don’t blame you David. That bike is cooler and way more fun than ANY house extension !
When can we expect ride reports ??

Welcome David, super keen to hear your thoughts on the V4. I've been so close to ordering the V4 a couple of times. Had a look at your website, like what you've done. The silver Arai helmet is wicked!

So have you had much time on the V4 David? Any feedback?

As someone with a Superlight in order, I’m particularly interested in how your V4 feels when riding in half throttle...!

If you are just a little bit squeemish then DO NOT LOOK at this photo sequence....

Looking good as he departs the bike park....

Have any V4s been delivered?

darn, 3 seconds later and he finds out that the steering lock is just as bad as on the 961.....

Have any V4s been delivered?

beyond the point of no return.....

Have any V4s been delivered?

and she's down! How much to repaint that chrome fairing?

Have any V4s been delivered?

Bummer.
Hate to think about the repair cost.
I wonder why the tip-over switch didn't kill the ignition?
The V4 does have one, no?

You can bet that guy was so amp-ed up with all the attention . Look at that one following his exhaust with the helmet cam , ridiculous ! He needs to practice driving his bike , by himself so he can concentrate . This man should not have a 200HP , $50,000 bike to practice the basics .

The car parked opposite has GB licence plates. The bike doesn't look to have a licence plate but the rider has some kind of 'trade plate' strapped to his back, you can see the webbing going around his waist. My guess it's not his bike, possibly one of the recent ones to hit the showrooms, Krazy Horse maybe?

After having watched it several times , I am now laughing out loud. Sorry !

That's at the Original Tea Hut in High Beech, Epping Forest - it's a PITA to get out when its busy - I often see many "paddling" with poor steering locks as the metal boxes park blocking the small access road and those driving in don't often give way - he isn't the first to drop it there and won't be the last!
