Hansen Dam ride the 4th

Most everyone in a 100 mile radius I should think!....even as far away as Texas....unless it rains and ruins the whole day, that has happened before!.............I live in Valencia I think I can manage that one.

Will be there but Norton stays in NC. Will be riding a borrowed Triumph Bonnie or Thruxton.

I wen to the Best British Bike Ride by a Dam Site back in 2010. Came from Phoenix where I lived at the time, it was great.
We are now living in Texas and it is a bit to far for me.
Hope you have a great time.

I'm planning to be there with my grandson, one old Commando and one new 961.

I’m gonna ride out don’t know the route but if folks north LA like Valencia etc want to rally out together I’m up for it.

I’ll be contemplating my route while I’m nursing my bike back from it’s deep sleep.

Will be leaving from Valencia with some other Nortons around 8......................

I took a look at my finishing pins from my previous Hansen Dam rides. I just realized that 1997 was the last time I was there. That makes it 21 years. I don't even remember which bike I rode. So I am going to make a point to be there this year. I will be riding my black Norton Interstate and I have a friend who will also be attending with his red 2014 Triumph Speed Triple.

We (grandson and I) had a good ride at the event, and managed to hook up with John (xbackslider) for the first part of the ride. Sorry we didn't manage to connect with any other forum members. Weather was mostly around 80°F, and the ride included some really challenging (and scenic) forest roads.

It was a great scene, a rolling museum of MC sights sounds and smells. Maybe a couple hundred bikes and several hundred enjoying people and machines

Did you have the CNW one?

I had a really tight schedule before and after the event so I just grabbed another bike which was in front of the garage door. I won't say the brand!

Next year, we should get better organized and have an Access corner with a flag or banner.
That would be easier to find people.

The ride route was great. Good brakes needed for sure!

Was a great show! Yeah I missed you guys, so many Nortons hahaah It was great. I am sure there is plenty of oil to keep that parking lots preserved for the next 100 years.

It sounds like everyone had a great time. I went back in 2010 when I lived in Phoenix, it was great.
Go if can it is a fun time.
