Yes, they are a couple of inches wider than I would prefer!
However, because I'm running hydraulic brake and clutch, it's the only way I could get clearance for the levers.
It's not ideal, but when I test fitted the tank it made it look a little slimmer!

Yep - I need to get underway with it.
I know, I know - I need to get my priorities right and put the bike first.
Shitty excuses I know, but I have had a lot going on with work, and am in the process of moving house.
At the moment, I can only work on the bike outside when the weather is good, as I don't have the space right now.
The good news is, when I move I will build a new workshop straight away that will allow me to work all weathers.
...currently getting around some challenges around the front engine plates, head steady and centre stand springs which have all slowed down the progress.

I don't know how I missed this thread, I just spent over an hour reading everything and looking at the pictures. VERY impressive build and I can't wait to see the progress you make. I also love reading how you and your dad are working together 8)

Nigel - I made the mistake of listening to Rohan, and put handlebars on my bike... now it won't fit through the front door!!!! :lol:
