Took a half day off work to figure what was goin’ on with my 961 Sport. I studied a handful of YouTube videos very carefully to come up with the best wheel alignment technique. Tedious as it was I spent a solid hour using the string method to determine where the fault was. I had already figured out the chain adjusters where horribly inferior. Using a bit of my wife’s fishing line I found the rear wheel was as much as 2 1/2 cm out from the front wheel. No wonder I felt like I was riding a hinge these last few days. Once the correction was complete I took ‘er for a lengthy spin about town ... as much of the twisties as I could do in 30 minutes. The verdict after a good flogging - she’s back to the girl I knew and loved! Confidence inspiring on the corners. Light and nimble. Took the bumps like a Cadillac! I like my Norton again.
