What is the rally site for July this year? I don't see it on the websites. Ashland, Or but what camp site.

We have a final meeting to lock things down on Monday Feb 10th. Yes, they are late. You can only make old people move so fast.

You guys are running pretty slow on this. Most clubs have it locked down by November or so of the previous year. Some folks have to schedule things a long time in advance. Tell your rally chairman to get on the stick. We still don't know any more than we did back in July when your guy made the rally proposal at Buffalo.

You're telling me. I'm just as frustrated as everyone else.

Good news. Well, almost good news. We are super close with releasing all the information (that we have at this time) for the rally.

I need to work with the INOA web guy on the online registration and Paypal configuration. After that we'll be able to start taking registrations. Also the menu to link to the pages isn't working yet. Soon… very soon…

We are also finalizing the campground reservations. We hope to have a block of sites locked down tomorrow.

It should be worth the wait.

What are the lodging options - it looks pretty limited

Camping (tent or RV) at the campground.
I've provided two nearby resorts with cabins/rooms.
Then in Ashland there are a multitude of hotels. It is Shakespeare Festival season there so hotels will go quickly. I'll see if we can get some hotel recommendations from the Southern Oregon folks.

One option that I have not included yet is trailer rentals for the campground. They are very expensive but may be an option.

How many more options would you like?

its Ashland - so patchouli oil, a card board sign asking for hemp, and an old sleeping bag are the accommodations

For those with a little adventure in their souls, there is Keno to the east about 30 miles. The ride to Howard Prairie would be on the Keno Access Road which is described as a paved single lane road. Most of the traffic on it would be campers and RVs using one of the many camping areas that are throughout the area. If you do a little research you will find lots of camping in that area. Klamath Falls is a short distance farther east and they are probably begging for people to stay there. There is also Lake of The Woods about 15 miles east of Howard Prairie with its own lodge and cabins as well.

They finally got a schedule published and it's now on the site.

Registrations are coming in.

Remember that camping reservations are through the campground only!

I am going to start traveling from Vancouver Saturday July 12. Me and my girlfriend Allyson will have camping gear packed on the Norton. We know how to pack light so we can make this work (we have done it before). We might stay in a motel if we feel like it. I will head over to Port Townsend and down the Hood Canal, stopping somewhere on the North Oregon coast to camp the first night. Then we will head further South on the Oregon Coast the next day. We are not going to rush. Probably we will go down into California before coming back into Oregon by the Redwoods HIghway. Anyone who would be interested in joining us for part of the journey should contact me here. Maybe there is someone who lives along this route or was planning on taking part of this route around the same time. If the weather or traffic on the coast is bad we may completely change our plan.

Sounds like a great ride!

Just like at Barber last year we will have a forum picture at the Rally, probably Thursday night. I'd also like to get a picture of each forum member with their bike.

I'll be driving up in my funky old RV with my beater Commando and an old KZ650 (sorry, only one of the Nortons is street legal right now) behind on a trailer. Just can't ride that far any more. I'm bringing my 20 year old grandson along for his first exposure to the Norton crowd. We're driving part way Monday, and should be checking in sometime Tuesday morning. Looking forward to it. We'll be in site Y-04.
