RGM Norton

RGM have lost Andover Norton as a supplier and its mainly these items that show as not in stock. So for these items go to AN direct. I bought AN items from RGM as they did price them lower, maybe that was the problem or AN decreased dealer margins.
Sadly, the items I am after are not something that Andover Norton stocks. I have emailed RGM several times to enquire when the items will be available but have never received a reply each time.
RGM really need to up their game on the online side of things, other than that I have always found RGM good to deal with.

They are snowed under with emails as has been said
Just phone them up
And get the stuff in a couple of days

Repeated throughout this thread is the statement “they are backed up with emails and not responding to them”.

Also repeated throughout this thread “I’ve emailed them several times without a response”…

Obviously… if their emails are backed up… sending more ain't gonna help !

Roger is a good guy that has served the Norton community very well for decades, he’s not some con artist.

He obviously has some big problems currently and it would seem very ungentlemanly IMO to jump on the bandwagon and kick the man to death whilst he is down.

Buy stuff elsewhere where possible to give him some breathing space and use the phone to communicate rather than sending a dozen emails. Surely that’s not beyond us given his history of supporting us ??

No one's bashing RGM or implying that the man is a con artist, he obviously is snowed under with emails but it is the not the dark ages like 40 odd years ago where if you wanted parts from the UK, you sent a letter and waited weeks for a reply and to order them.
The Website has a section to ask a question on a product so surely, it's not too much to expect a reply in due course?

Maybe try elsewhere

It’s clearly not ’too much to expect’ during normal operation. But it’s pretty self evident that he is not in a period of normal operation.

Seriously, your best bet is to either buy elsewhere or phone him.
