It would be more like the third time, but it is not the original speedo.One more time. So this is the second 999999 on that bike? Does the speedo die after that happens?

my ALH TDI odometer took me to 621,000 miles, and quit.One more time. So this is the second 999999 on that bike? Does the speedo die after that happens?
