I got this for Christmas, it was on my wish list. I'm sure whoever got it for me was like WTF is that thing. But it's perfect if you own a Norton.

It's bendable and holds it's shape. So far I've used it on the timing side and the primary side and it's keep the oil off the pipes and frame. It'll also be great when draining the oil from the tank. I think I've seen this item mentioned before on the forum but I thought I'd share my experiences. It's basically aluminum encased in plastic.

You forced me into that one Dave..... I know it makes sense and is very useful, but the pics and reading the write up have all but twisted my arm.... I can only hope I find where I stash it when I need to use it. There's far too many safe hiding places for me to keep track of and almost everything is lost.

Yup, I have one. I used to tie wrap a funnel to the kick lever but it always overflowed if I didn't put my finger over the tank drain.

I suspect I will keep mine in the drain pan since that's where it will be used the most. Luckily the drain pan is big enough I don't usually lose it. Usually...

i use those disposable foil pans such as you roast turkeys in for a variety of applicashuns.. They make great drain pans and parts cleaning pans and you can cut them into pieces for other uses sich as putting under primary to ketch de oil eat mo turkey
