I am planning to sell my 2013 Commando SF. I looked in the latest Blue Book but it wasn't listed. (I guess because the sales numbers are so small) Any ideas on what I should ask or where I can get some ideas on value?

2013 Norton Commando SF, approx 2500 miles, no accidents, no drops, mechanically sound and excellent cosmetically. Comes with short pipes and standard long pipes. Black.

Thanks!

Are you in the Toronto Area ? Maybe you can call David Coote , he may be able to assist or even know a buyer.

See what others are selling for in your area. Also , the good condition of your bike may get more. Also , don't trade it in because the dealer will go too low , or not want the bike period because they dont know them. You can put it on line after you determine your price. Some members in England got a good price for their trade in. Did you try to trade it in ?

No, I didn't try to trade it in. Dealers generally don't pay very well and with a unique bike like the North I wouldn't get a decent offer. Delaers generally base what they pay on the "Blue Book" but the Norton doesn't appear in the book.

You'd be lucky to get 7500 at a dealer. Private sale for sure. That said, I wouldn't venture a guess on private sale. Hope you do well.

Hi Roofus,

I have a very similar bike (also in Canada) and the dealer “trade-in” values are always at about $10k. I now figure that for that price I will just keep mine as a looker and have bought a second daily driver bike :). If you are really determined to sell I would go the auto trader or e-bay rought as the bike is so special most riders are not aware of it or it’s value. If you are interested in selling your short pipes could you let me know ? All the best.
