Hello Gentlemen,

As we have a great forum here, what do members think of having a members photo gallery?

Jerry what do you think?

It could be a great forum to show examples of each type/model of Cdo- a useful reference source in itself, but it could also be a great forum for modified bikes- and let's be honest, who doesn't own a ever so slightly modified machine?

Jerry if it's going to be a logistical impossibility then no worries, but I thought it would be worth gauging what forum members think?

So come one, come all, what do you think?

I support this, I have been saving pics of forum readers bikes for my own personal needs, like mods that look good , close up shots of fit ups etc,
Regards Mike

I can't be the only one who wonders if all mk3 850 roadsters were the same for example. Much of the fun comes from seeing how other folk have done things.....paint and colour schemes, position of mudguard stays, or the type of cafe racer seat fitted- all could be documented, and the knowledge is here!

Gallery would be both fun and useful.
Maybe broken down by year.
Can we also have member mention the country they are from.

Bob

sounds good , photo yr & model,,location of member ,,,bit like a profile maybe???

Possibly formated by year, Combat's, Specials, and Commando powered. Hopefully a thumbnail picture list. Easily searchable.

Count my vote for this.

As crusader states, if it turns out to be a logistical nightmare then so be it, but it'd be great even if it were just as a photographic resource of models etc.

Kenny

Thanks Debby,

Jerry's gallery is great and the photos of his bike with the Corbin seat lead me to the forum in the first place (and inspired me to set up my MK3 similarly!).

But is is a quite random, personal assortment and as you say not searchable. A Member's gallery would be wonderful. Sounds like other folk agree- I'm often saving pictures because I like the look of the seat/mirrors/clever engineering solution, etc on Member's bikes and avatars.

I'm no expert but I imagine a few folders organised by model/and or year, along with a modified section, wouldn't be too hard to set up. It's just an idea- but one that could be really useful if it's feasible.

LAB, could I respectfully ask if I could contact Jerry or perhaps ask if you could draw his attention to this? I'm no web expert but I'd be willing to do some work for this if that's what required to make it happen.

Many thanks everyone- 15 and counting!

You certainly don't need my permission to contact Jerry.

I know this subject has been discussed before-but it's worth a try.

I like the idea a lot of my time on forum is on iPhone at mine camps jerrys site is not compatible with iPhone so one on forum would be great
