The only values I've found are 15 lb-ft on old britts:

•Oil pump worm gear/nut (06-7889, LH thread) 15 ft lb.

Seems low, my parts book shows it as NM24732.

If you are talking about the 6 start LH special nut that holds the half time pinion on the crankshaft then i was advised by Mick Hemmings just to fit it with a drop of Loctite an tighten it up. There is no stated torque figure and being a LH thread it is not inclined to work loose he added he has never had an issue with them so just tighten them with a suitable spanner till your happy its done up.

I did it 15 lb-ft and applied penetrating grade loctite. Cam nut 70 lb-ft and penetrating grade loctite.

Mick Hemmings says 15 lbs/ft for cam sprocket nut on the chilled iron PW3 cam and a spot of Loctite as hi torque can shear the end off the shaft. I have not read the Old Britts website myself (being in England there are more local suppliers) but if i where you i would reread it just to make sure of such a high figure on the cam nut. As for the crank 6 start LH nut i have never seen a figure for it in any manual or website.

Old Britts said 60 to 80 for a cam nuts depending on the steel, I split the difference. They have 15 for the cast iron pw3.
