So just wanted to update the progress on the bike and my learning curve....which have both been getting cleaned up for sure.
Here is the bike when I got it home...
Mostly cosmetic stuff but here it is with new pipes, new painted fender and tank logo, new grips, few air filters, cleaning, polishing, and repeated tightening. Runs great, first kick every time...leaks a penny size bit of oil but we'll sort that out.
(Don't hate me purist) but I just loved this wrong year Norton badge rather that the thin mirrored plastic badge that originally came on the rear fender (was not on this bike when I got it) so rather than hunt down the old, I this in...
I'm still learning a ton and I just wanted to thank everyone on the board for making me feel a somewhat confident that I can sort out a problem, or sort out a problem I create....with the wealth of knowledge here.
