WM4.5 (2.75) sun rim: will it fit

FWIW Avon does spec a recommended width for Roadrider tires but they also show a min and a max width, the chart below was for the series 1 version and is from a few years ago.

WM4.5 (2.75) sun rim: will it fit

So, although WM2s came standard on our bikes, they are no longer recommended with the available Road Riders? Stock rims (WM2) and 90/90-19 front and 100/90-19 were on it when I bought it 12 years ago, and that set up seemed fine, but what did I know? I have the bike apart now, with new Excel WM2s already laced up, as the original Dunlops were not useable after my wreck. I have thought about changing the rear to a WM4 18, but maybe that wouldn’t be a good match with the WM2 front? I am trying to keep the same brand/shouldered style, but they are in very short supply now.

A WM-4, 19" 2.5"rim, will fit a stock 850 Commando fender and clear. (Front and Back) I have these on my ride. Might not fit an early 750 fender as I haven't been able to verified that because I don't own that early a bike. Maybe others who have can comment.
Cheers,
Tom
Tom,
I am running the same WM-4 rims on both ends as yours. These are Borranis and I use the stock front fender with both stays.Works well for me.850 also.
