Wheel offset for a mk111 commando

Hello all can anyone help please? what is the correct offset for the front and rear wheels for my mk111 norton , the problem i have is that when i cross white lines to overtake the bike shakes its arse really violently i think the wheels maybe out of line and would like to check the offset

The 'correct' amount of offset will be whatever it takes to set the front wheel (rim) in the centre of the forks, and the rear rim to be set on the centre line of the frame.

The wheels can be out of line without the offset being wrong.

From the symptoms you have described the underlying problem could be any number of things from worn tyres/shocks/wheel bearings/swinging arm bearings/Isolastics incorrect tyre type or pressures, (to list a few) or a combination of more than one of those.
