What's happening at Norton? Sale to TVS, massive investment, new bikes...

I actually never heard of Motus before this.
Very interesting article.

Too many fish in the pan. These guys are going to end up with management problems eating up their capital, and fail yet again in the USA.

I said that so they can prove me wrong and give the 9 or 10 people in the USA that might actually buy a new Norton something to buy instead of pontificate about. Too harsh? Oops 🤣
Followed the Motus story for a while and would have bought one ,Alan Cathcart liked it a lot.

Engine designed by a Chevy Corvette racing engineering team.
The crank runs longitudinally but the bike has a chain final drive.
So there has to be bevel gears in the drive-train to change the direction of the final drive 90 degrees.
Would love to see an exploded view of the engine.

Yeah, I like the natural grey finish much better.
Easier to see the motor, and case covers.
Pretty cool indeed, too bad in the end the factory couldn't make a go of it.

Interesting.
Why don't you post a video so we can all hear it?
plenty out there, and my video skills and equipment are not the best , but maybe I'll give it a try.
Should probably get back to dreaming about some kind of new Norton........

The bodywork in the spy shots is clearly not production.. Besides if the styling is too 'out there', no one will buy it. Motorcyclists are a conservative bunch.

So they are just copying the crap seat/rear end designs from all the others?

What do you people expect? Hilarious reactions here.
Do you really think a modern bike with a v4 is going to have classic looks?

Ducati and bmw do it better.

Agreed.
Classic fans will not be buying a superbike.
This V4 is for the kids, or at least people how think they're kids, with money, who fantasize themselves future MOTOGP champions.
So, they need 200+hp, angular plastic bits, computer screen instruments, tiny tail sections, 10 rider modes, etc.....:p
Us classic fans will have to wait for their "modern classic" model, or models.
