What is this?

The engine looks familiar but i can't place it......

The logo is crystal clear on the tank, CZ.

2-stroke, probably a 250, around '68 - 70 I'm guessing.

The 250 was a twin, so it's a 175, from around the mid-70's as it's an "autolube" model.

The older these bikes get, the fuzzier my memory gets.

I didn't google it, just guessed.

CZ did some reasonable moto crossers too , dunno if joel Roberts ever rode em. Brothers mate had a White plastic coffin tanked one,
or was it alloy , or both . Anyway , last race of the long day , about 1975 , he did a ' roger ramjet ' .
Top straight ended in 90 deg. hard left, to downhill , then flat , repeated. About a 20 Ft. drop , and it starts 20 ft. from the corner .
Getting on in the day , rob mustve been having a bit of a dice , and forgot where he was. I was standing on the outside about half
way down the 45 deg. slope, when this idiot hooks the turn hard and on the gass. Only thing is he doesnt shut it of for the drop,
Very good traction, he shoots staight out a way , stops , and Straight Down. Level . a way . Had reasonable suspension the M X .
Didnt look to sure what'd happened for a moment, the sudden grip had stopped the engine, and he lost a few places .
alloy rims on that wernt real round either .

Joel may indeed have raced for CZ before he got on Yellow bikes...
