Last wallet I found was sodden wet at the side of the road. Took it home, couldn’t find any ID but there was a golf club membership card. Contacted them and blah, blah, eventually got hold of the guys Mum. The guy was 18 and had been out a few nights prior and got so drunk he didn’t remember getting home, and had lost his wallet.The Mum did thank me, but kept going on and on about how she ‘couldn’t understand how all the cards were in there but the cash had gone‘. Seemed clear to me she was basically accusing me of taking it. The 18yr old wallet owner never even bothered saying thanks.Some folks eh ?!
