Made in Australia, unused in a box , did I want it [ long lost orphan, free to good home]?
Numbers read...INLET : 29/71, duration 280,`lift .399, l/c 111`
................EXHAUST : 78/32, duration 290`,lift .399.
Does look a bit meaty.. What do ya reckon, could be a goer?

I don't know about the lift figures, but the timings look good. The exhaust opening is about as early as you would want to go, more than I use with my 850 cam advanced 15 degrees (72 degrees), and it closes later. The inlet opening isn't radical, so it shouldn't do anything stupid to the rev range. I found years ago that advancing the exhaust opening before 80 degrees BBDC makes the noise louder, and produces less power. The closing point depends on the exhaust system, on my bike an error fixes an error (two into one exhaust). I always get a laugh out of it, you need to ride it to appreciate it. - 'It is so bad that it is good' !

Thanks Aco, I`ll have to look at a range of applications/specs to decide where to go with what, cam-wise. & interesting point about 2-1 exhaust systems, note how the M.V. used 3-3, but BSA/Triumph went to a 3-1 collector type.
I understand that a correctly dimensioned grouped system gives better torque [on 4-strokes, I tried a 3-1 on an H2, it sounded like a Ferrari V12,but lost top-end power] -but 2-1s dont sound as good as individuals on 360`twins [I had a Shenton/Boyer 2-1 on a 500 Daytona].
